The Washington, D.C. Chapter is one of the oldest and largest chapters of NCMA.  Its members include a distinguished list of movers and shakers in contracting.  Chartered in 1964, the D.C. Chapter has nearly 1,000 members, including the highest proportion of agency senior procurement executives of any
chapter.  The Chapter draws on leading figures in government, industry, politics, and academia to engage in emerging acquisition topics.  Meetings are held monthly on third Wednesdays.

To supplement its monthly program and provide additional career development opportunities, the Chapter sponsors a scholarship program and NES's, supports a Leadership development program,  and delivers a robust and interactive CPCM review class.

By tradition, the chapter wraps up the year with "Fellows' Night," where the program focuses on a wrap-up of key acquisition issues and  celebrates the contributions of its many NCMA Fellows.
